What is Reuse and Recycle, Cairns
Reuse Recycle, Cairns is an online contact point for the redistribution for reuseable and recyclable materials amongst those in the communities of Far North Queensland and the Pacific Islands. Charities and those in crises can access needed resources. Others in the community can trade for volunteer (vol) hours or pay a nominal fee for select items. We supervise Work-for-Dole programs Monday to Friday at our social enterprise, The Store in the CBD. This provides a rich array of work-experience opportunities (Admin, PR, Event Management, Social Media, Craft n Art, Biz Governance, Retail) as well as opportunities for creating their own income streams (using Trash).
